The true story of Bernard and Isabella.
Madame Curie was Bernard's godmother, and when WWII started he quit medical school in Paris to be a pilot in the Royal Air Force while Isabella supervised the teletype operators at Bomber Command in London, England. Bernard initially piloted a Lancaster bomber and his brother Henry was the navigator. He switched to piloting a Spitfire fighter plane because he didn't want to be responsible for the lives of the crew. His brother later lost his life on the bomber. Isabella was married twice to Spitfire pilots who died during the war.

Stephen was the lead tenor in several high profile choirs and spent a decade as the cantor at St. James' Cathedral, Toronto where he met many celebrities including Desmond Tutu, Queen Elizabeth, King Charles and other members of the royal family.
He'll regularly be singing Victorian/Edwardian era songs (mid 1800's to early 1900's) at the Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum's Doon Heritage Village starting in summer 2026.
