Comet is the signature attraction at Great Escape. This PTC wood coaster was designed by Herb Schmeck and it is a very historic ride. Comet was relocated to Great Escape in 1994 after running at Crystal Beach from 1948-1989. And the support structure used to build Comet was originally used on the legendary Crystal Beach Cyclone, which opened in 1927.
