The Allen Community Jazz Band brings a new perspective to many of the traditional holiday songs such as Santa Claus is Coming to Town, We Wish You a Merry Christmas and other season favorites.
Big Band selections will include Harlem Nocturne, featuring John Roberts on alto, Take The A Train with Alex Dumas on trumpet, and a perennial favorite, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, with solos by Bob Burnam, trombone, John Roberts, alto, and Alex Dumas, trumpet.
A swinging arrangement of Sleigh Ride will conclude the concert.

The Allen Community Jazz Band is led by Craig Logan and associate director Ray Akin, who provided arrangements for the concert.
