Vegas week is almost here, and we're getting ready the only way we know how. This week on Trek Geeks: Thursday Night Geeks presented by FanSets, we're breaking down everything you need to know about Creation Entertainment's Trek to Vegas, running August 5 through 9 at the Rio in Las Vegas. It's the big one this year, with the convention landing squarely in the middle of Star Trek's 60th anniversary celebration and a guest list north of 115 actors, creatives, and franchise friends.
Joining us is Dr. Ann Marie Segal from The 7th Rule podcast and Creation Entertainment, who'll give us the inside look at what's coming together for this year's show. We'll talk through the highlights on the schedule, the guests worth rearranging your day for, and the practical stuff that separates a great Vegas from a rough one: what to pack, how to pace yourself, when to eat, and where the good stuff happens when the panels wrap.
We're also welcoming a "Guest Geek" Jessi from Crusher Convo here on the Trek Geeks network as our special guest. Between the Enterprise 25th anniversary reunion, the Lower Decks crew, the Starfleet Academy cast making their first Vegas appearances, and first-timers like Ken Marshall, Shannon Fill, and Tom Wright, there's more happening in five days than most of us can reasonably cover.
