I was in Madison, Wisconsin for Labor Day last year and was told that since it was the last day for the pool to be open, the dogs get to jump in. I had no idea what I was in for when I went to watch. This year, I knew better, and brought my camera. Unfortunately, all the angels above (they love dogs!) were so overwhelmed with the scene they started crying, and we all got rained on. The dogs didn't care, so i was still able to get a little bit for you. This is completely un-edited footage. When dogs jump into a people's pool, their inner theme song plays. It's really incredible. I didn't even know that black labs knew about Charlie XCX and Boom Clap, but maybe they saw The Fault in our Stars. Turns out Golden Retrievers love Whitney Houston and Sia. Makes sense that they're into power ballads. And even the weirdest looking rescue dogs that are part terrier part poodle part pitbull part chihuahua part pug enjoy Toto. I mean, Toto's totally famous. Toto, Rosanna. Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore, it's Rosanna, I love you. And then there's the dogs in life jackets who can't get enough Backstreet Boys. I'm telling you, it was really special. Enjoy.
