Ana Mo Shoshin | All the Books That Made Me Cry in 2023 | Bookmas 2023 | Year in Review @AnaMoShoshin | Uploaded December 2023 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Hi, I’m Mo.
Welcome to Bookmas Day 18!
I thought it might be interesting to see what books made me cry this year. I cry pretty easily at books, but since this is the fist year I had Storygraph, it's the first year that I tracked it.
The common themes I see for what might make me cry are about what you expect. Family relationships, especially parent and child relationships. Particularly queer kids. Loss of siblings, or parents, and unjust death also make me cry sometimes. And being separated from people and places one loves def are hard for me to take! Loss of a beloved animal will prob get me every time.
Do you cry at books? What was the last book that made you emotional?
Videos, Channels and People Mentioned:
