When professional climber Ashima Shiraishi first discovered bouldering, it was free and accessible in the heart of Central Park. Today, the rising costs of climbing can make it difficult for newcomers to experience the sport.

In ALL RISE, Ashima returns to her roots—an outdoor climbing area that has long brought together a multi-generational and multicultural community. By reconnecting with this space, she’s helping to lay the foundation for a future where climbing is not limited by financial barriers but instead defined by community, inclusivity, and accessibility.

This film, part of Arc’teryx’s No Wasted Days series, celebrates the power of climbing as more than just a sport—it’s an opportunity for everyone to rise.
