"The rain has started again..." š§ļøāļø
Welcome back to the channel. Today, I am sharing a more refined and emotionally resonant version of Neuvillette's Story Quest ending theme, "All Passed with the Rain."
In my previous attempt, I used the guitar-centric Pluie sur La Ville as the backing track. However, as many of you noticed, the tempo and atmosphere didn't quite align with the somber, piano-driven weight of the actual cutscene. This new arrangement fixes that, featuring a custom piano and orchestra sequence that honors the original tempo and the "cleansing" feel of Fontaineās rain.
⨠Whatās New in this Version:
- True-to-Game Tempo: Re-arranged to match the pacing of the "Diluvies" story finale.
- Cinematic Overlay: Featuring the original cutscene with synchronized voicelines and ambient rain SFX for maximum emotional impact.
- Multicam Performance: A 2-angle concert-style view with a SeeMusic piano visualizer to help you follow every note.
š¹ Inspiration:
The idea to include the voiced cutscene was inspired by this incredible cover of "A Dream of Falling Branches":

š§ Lore & Connection
In Fontaine, it is said that whenever the rain falls, the Hydro Dragon is weeping. This piece, "All Passed with the Rain," captures that exact moment of vulnerability for Neuvillette. While the guitar-centric Pluie sur La Ville represents the city's atmosphere, this piano version is deeply personalāplaying as the rain finally washes away the "sins" and sorrows of the past during the finale of his Story Quest.
I hope you like this style of cover. I can also upload the version without dialogue if you want. Just tell me in the description.
