This is a side-by-sided comparison of a bunch of CRT shaders and one scanline filter at 1080p (with exact setup/settings below).
Here's how to install/use these shaders on anything on a PC: youtu.be/_SXulfcjyD8
This was recorded with OBS with NVidia Nvenc H.264, CQP encoding at 16 on the P6: Slower preset in 1080p60FPS. The non-shader half of the footage is a recording of Chrono Trigger running on Snes9x with the 4x Scale internal resolution scaling on both the left and right side of the screen (both shaders and non-shaders) and the native 8:7 unstretched aspect ratio cropped a tiny bit to fit the screen while showing most of the main action of each shot. The shader half of the footage is a recording of ShaderGlass itself in clone mode with the shader mentioned on screen recorded at the exact same time for easy syncing and 1-1 comparison. All the shaders used that had curvature/borders that could be disabled were disabled. My favorite shader of the bunch is probably CRT-Mattias or CRT-Royale (with interlacing).
