ANYWAYS! My friend Zac invited us all to Laser Tag....ALL NIGHT. I didn't make it, haha I fell asleep on the hard floor at about 4:30. BUT IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! I so wanna do that again. This video was taken at 4 in the morning...and yes, I was surrounded by couples...it sucked

So in an effort to cleanse myself, I have gone through my old video files and realized Ive been lamenting over videos that I likely will never finish. And maybe if I share them, Ill get over the desire to finish them and be able to move on creatively for the sake of my sanity. Here are several projects dating as far back as 2011 that I just have been on a struggle bus with. Feedback is always welcome!

Back in the day I really wanted to make cinematic Disney videos and always had a hard time with it. This was one in particular that I felt super good about. But alas, I didnt have time for it when I went to college and it has sat in my folder. I know other editors have done their take with this song and I just kind of feel its time to drop this one.
-Your Love Is My Drug [Vent]
Back in 2013 I had a crush on a boy and it was very frustrating. I loved making vents to get my emotions out using characters that represented me and my friends. Ive always wanted to get the flow that I had in this video back AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO IT. I genuinely remember taking maybe 2 hours to make this and its...dated. But I still remember it fondly.

I HAVE EVERY INTENTION OF FINISHING THIS ONE I PROMISE YOU. I love this song too much and have completed too much of it to NOT complete it. But when that beat drops my mind goes blank. Its actually really frustrating and its editing Ive always wanted to do. No matter what effects I put on there, I just cant seem to get a decent flow going and I dont want it to appear too repetitive. I didnt want to share this until it was completed but man oh man do I need help with this. I want to see this finished.

I was obsessed with this song in 2013. And at the time I really wasnt too familiar with big Disney edits like this and I was testing the waters. Its a cute video, but not one I ever anticipated finishing. I just got kinda stuck and Im ok with that.
-The Chase
I have put so much love into this video. I think I started in 2012 and I have no intention of dropping it. Because even after all these years, I just want to tweak it a tiny bit. I still love it now as much as I did then. Im just kind of..stuck. I know exactly how I want the second verse to go, I just gotta get over the bump that is the chorus. Give me strength editing gods.

I just started this maybe a month ago and Im absolutely in love with it. ITS TOO BAD SONY VEGAS LIKES TO RUIN IT WITH GLITCHES. Anytime I try to render this, it turns out like it does here and the actual project file becomes corrupted as well until I restart Vegas. I have no idea whats happening and its so discouraging because I have so much motivation for this.

Man do I love this. But bad quality clips and a lack of inspiration to continue have made this project dead dead dead. Im so sorry.

This was my alt. entry for Livs favorite movie contest. This was another one that my vegas file got corrupted and I ended up starting over and entering the Young Blood video. This was a big test run since it was my first new video in a looooooong time. Its a mess but here it is for the world to see.

OH BOY ITS FROM 2011. This video is so old oh my god. This was before I knew I could edit with blu-ray quality films. It was a dark time. This video is so cute and I had many plans to revamp it with higher quality clips but alas, it never happened and I think its time I let this one go.

Remember when trailer edits were a thing? Because I do and this was my last attempt at one. I was going to use this as a video to practice making crossovers with, which as we can all see, never happened. Ooooooh weeeelll.")

If youll notice, the date at the end says February 14th......yes this video was finished on valentines day......why didnt I upload it? BECAUSE SONY VEGAS HATES ME. I ended up having to render it into 26 different parts. Dear god that took forever.
