My complete Nintendogs + Cats photo collection, including non-screenshots! 2012-2024. In 2012 I was just 7 years old!
12 years of memories!
It’s mostly random nonsense, but there’s some gems and pretty silly, perfectly timed moments in there if you can find them… Includes edits I made in 3DS Camera.

-Animal Crossing New Leaf hourly themes (What happened to the 11 PM theme? Someone once again false copyright claimed Nintendo music they don’t own. It was replaced by 4 and 5 AM. Not my favorite hourly themes, but my intention for the ACNL music section was to not repeat any songs and they were the hourly themes left…)

These were taken on my old blue 3DS model (my first DS!), red 3DS XL, Galaxy New 3DS XL, and blue DSi. I’ve sorted each gallery by them, though a few duplicate photos may still be in the mix since it looks like, putting a cartridge with a streetpass picture chosen adds it to that 3DS’s gallery? I did remove the obvious out of place duplicates.
Looking through the gallery of my Nintendogs + Cats games back then was an adventure! There were things I couldn’t believe I forgot about, like dogs I had for a short time I didn’t remember at all! Or the silly glitches I accidentally stumbled on! I’m still incredibly fond of these memories I’ve grown up with and really enjoyed looking back!
Nintendogs and Nintendogs + Cats were a huge part of my life growing up and I still play them often! After all, they’re the only dogs I can have right now… Anyways Nintendogs was my childhood like Super Mario was, and these thousands of screenshots from + Cats is proof! And I’d have thousands more if screenshots were in DS Nintendogs. I do have some non screenshot pictures of DS Nintendogs, but that’d be for its own video.
Nintendogs and Nintendogs + Cats will always be some of my favorite games of all time, and I haven’t found any other pet game coming close to their charm and quality, as well as the life-likeness of the dogs and cats. I’m grateful to have grown up with a dog in a way, even though it isn’t the same. I’m still trying to make enough money for my parents to be okay with me having a dog to this very day…
