Fun Farms State of the Union, sort of.
Today we go through all fun farm designs and check how well they work in the newest Minecraft versions.
Entire episode was prepared in 1.15.2, but since Mojang dropped the first 1.16 snapshot, I thought why not to record the entire thing in 1.16 already. As we can see, despite popular belief that old farms are simply broken - all of the designs we went through today work to this day, sometimes right away, and sometimes with small changes.
Of all the designs we covered here today, only guardian XP farms need a fresh design, since they fail to deliver on the 180kxp promise, yet still bringing respectable 150kxp per hour.

Today we have 35th Episode of Fun Farms, where I use two new mechanics in 1.17 (XP stacking and powder snow) to come up with a crazy guardian XP farm you can built in a single player world and operate with one player as well. The farm, as included can produce 500 thousand xp / hour as well as 150k guardian drops per hour with looting, but due to limitations in how fast a player can take in XP orbs, is limited to 180k xp per hour.
This however means that you will have a lot of time in between slaying the guardians to do all the fun activities that xp is used for - mending and combining.
There is however a bug currently in 20w46a that renders xp orbs usless with mending, but the bug is being worked on in Mojang so should be fixed next release.
To test it now with mending, use `/carpet xpfix true` and enjoy your new guardian XP farm. Should be fixed soon, since its an important issue: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-205918
