(The Acolyte) || When it comes to The Acolyte, some can’t help but wonder if the Jedi are cops that got complacent from too much unchecked power and resources at their disposal thanks to the Republic. But compare the actions of Sol, Indara and Vernestra to the actions of real life law enforcement that causes the avocation for the government to defund the police, and the actions of a lot if not all the Jedi in the Acolyte and other Star Wars stories show there’s really no difference between the two.
