Did this on a whim for TDOV. I heard this song and thought “Yeah this fits even though it’s not explicitly about being trans” who cares I love trans coded songs.
I also went with the Christ allegory not just because it’s also Easter, but because I have likened my experience to that of Christ. I’m agnostic and don’t celebrate Easter in the ecclesiastical sense anymore but I still find religion fascinating. That’s part of the reason TBC exists.
