All of Gaia''s voice lines from God of War 3, found in game's files (used and unused).
As can be seen, originally Gaia would be voiced by Linda Hunt, like in God of War 2. It is possible that the developers thought her voice did not fit Gaia as an antagonist, as opposed to the "wise" Gaia from God of War 2.
Gaia's line "Father and son will die together" (GA_GP_025) is listed as a gameplay line (as opposed to a cutscene line), indicating that the GaiaRotunda cutscene was not originally in the game. It was likely added when the Gaia-Zeus-Kratos triple-way fight was removed. Zeus' pawn line is also listed as a gameplay line.
Also related to the removed triple-way fight, the lines GA_GAZ_HEADBUTT_01 and GA_GAZ_SLAM_01 (and variations) indicate possible attacks she would have in this fight. Note that GAZ is the code for the final portion of the game. The line GA_GAIAASCENT_GAZ_FACE_ON_FIRE_ALT_EDIT2 may also indicate something.
