You'll need a lot of Advanced Decryption Keys as you progress through The Outer Worlds 2, especially if you want to unlock all High Security Lockboxes scattered throughout the game. In this collectible guide, I go through every area step-by-step, showing exact key locations and explaining how to reach them efficiently.

Please note that some of the keys are locked behind specific choices. If you want to collect the highest number of keys, it’s advisable to:
- DO NOT let De Vries harm the delegates during the Fiends in High Places mission
- DO NOT start the An Equit Able Arrangement side quest at any point (this leads to Auntie's Choice and the Order working together)
- Complete the A Study in Disruption side quest for the Order (Cloister)
- Play the Crash Course in Telemetry side quest for the Order (Cloister) until you get the Advanced Decryption Key as a reward, then DO NOT talk to Ruth
- Complete the Now Hiring: Invaluable Disposable Agent side quest for Auntie's Choice (Praetor)
- Complete the Mysteries of the Mental Modulators side quest for Auntie's Choice (Praetor) and agree to work for Auntie exclusively
I did my best to find all of the keys, but it's possible there are still a few more well hidden from the player.
