Randy Ray | All 10 of the Books I Plan to Read in September 2023 #tbr @LiterateTexan | Uploaded August 2023 | Updated October 2024, 8 minutes ago.
Here's my September 2023 #tbr pile. Most of these are buddy reads or represent my participation in various Booktube events.
Here's the list of the 10 books I'm planning to read in September 2023:
1- Kindred by Octavia E. Butler (I'm reading this with my daughter Mary as a buddy read. I'm hoping she'll discuss it with me in a video, but you never know.)
2- Richard III by William Shakespeare
3- Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare
4- Antony and Cleopatra by William Shakespeare
(These 3 represent my participation in #Shaketember2023. For more information about #Shaketember , check out Kelly's announcement video: youtu.be/EJQ8UD5lT50?si=Ipm3_5do3YWDPg6c -- in fact, any time you get a chance to watch any of Kelly's videos, you should. She's terrific.)
5- The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco (I'm reading as a buddy read with @materiagrix )
6- Exploits of Brigadier Gerard by Athur Conan Doyle (I'm reading this because I'm participating in Roger's Cheap Old Book Club, which you can learn more about at Michael K. Vaughan's channel: @michaelk.vaughan8617
7- The World According to Garp by John Irving (I'm reading this as a buddy read with @anotherbibliophilereads , and I understand there will be multiple other buddies joining us for this one.)
8- The Conquering Sword of Conan by Robert E. Howard
9- The Bloody Crown of Conan by Robert E. Howard
10- The Coming of Conan the Cimmerian by Robert E. Howard
(I'm reading these last 3 to participate in Michael K. Vaughan's reading event, Cimmerian September. You can find his channel in the link in item #6 above.
And that's my September 2023 #tbr. What's on your list?
