The Ghost Exposed Event has returned to GTA Online, in time for the Halloween Season 2025. This year has all new ghosts and locations, including the 'mind-blowing' return of a Story Mode character as the final tenth ghost.
Just like last year, there are 10 ghosts that will spawn across Los Santos and Blaine County at fixed times. They will spawn for only one hour in-game, which is 2 minutes in real time. Taking photos of these ghosts and sending them to Ghosts Exposed will give you GTA$40,000 and 500 RP for each. To get the final ghost to spawn, you will have to first photograph and send the photos of the first nine ghosts. Only then will the last ghost spawn between 00:00 and 01:00 next night. If you want to photograph the first nine ghosts in a single night, you will need a fast vehicle like the Oppressor Mk II as the ghost locations are quite far from each other. I have shown the best route in order of their spawn times that you can follow. If you miss taking a ghost's photo, you will have to wait one in-game day, which is 48 minutes in real time, for that ghost to spawn again. Each of the first nine ghosts has 2 possible spawn locations, that are not too far from each other and hard to miss. I have shown these alternate locations as well.
Look up the locations in this video, and place 10 Point of Interest markers (You can set maximum 10 of these). Don't have to be too precise in placing them. This will just help with keeping track of the order you have to visit them and set waypoints. The markers remain in the same order as you place them.
Even an Oppressor Mk II will likely be too slow to photograph the nine ghosts in one night. So, I have given some suggested player spawn locations for each ghost, which you can set (if you own the property) and simply jump to a new private lobby to cut down on the travel time. This will almost always be faster than flying on an Oppressor Mk II. You can use aircrafts, but it might be a bit troublesome to land and take photographs from them. How you want to do this event is completely up to you at the end. I have only shared some general tips, an efficient route, and the ghost locations.
The final ghost is Jay Norris, the Founder and CEO of LifeInvader who was killed by Michael De Santa in the Story Mode mission 'Friend Request' while presenting a new explosive rigged prototype phone at the Vinewood Bowl.
