A special Onam collaboration with Traditional stree๐ผ๐ถ
For this episode, we chose Aliveni Enthu Cheyvu, a beautiful Malayalam padam composed by Maharaja Swathi Thirunal in Raga Kurinji.
We instantly felt that these ivory-and-gold sarees, with their lovely touches of red and green, were perfect for our Onam special. โค๏ธ๐ We also loved working with the warm and enthusiastic team at Traditional stree, a young Varanasi-based brand that beautifully blends tradition with a modern spirit.
When we approached @DeekshithMusic we knew that making this slow-paced composition engaging would be a challenge. But he found just the right balance adding elements that made it feel fresh and groovy while preserving its original beauty. We especially loved how naturally he brought the flavour of Onam into the arrangement. Thank you, Deekshith, for bringing our vision to life so beautifully! ๐ง๐ถ
