Dave Grohl took a shot at Taylor Swift and the Swifties dug up some RECIEPTS. I take a look into how their bassist fell for such dangerous misinformation and into the nonprofit "Alive And Well" the Foo Fighters performed a benefit show for back in the year 2000, seemingly based entirely on the testimony of Christine Maggiore, who died of AIDS related complications about a year and a half after the band scrubbed their involvement with her organization from their website.
About 5 minutes after I finished editing this I learned that Dave Grohl has also supported Autism Speaks, which I would have disavowed while filming if I'd seen earlier. I hate Autism Speaks and anyone who fundraises for them is doing harmful medical misinformation.

Ruth Coker Burks, the AIDS ANGEL Of Hot Springs, Arkansas is a grifter. In this video I uncover some of her scams and I interview people who were in the area, who were providing resources to HIV/AIDS patients in Hot Springs, Arkansas at the time of the memoir All The Young Men.
This video is a passion project and would not have been possible without the participation of Tim Looper or Mike Melancon. It is dedicated to the memory of Daymon Jones, another pioneer in AIDS treatment in Hot Springs, and we tell some of his story in the video, since Ruth neglected to do so in her memoir. We also talk about the upcoming stage production ANGEL OF ARKANSAS, which promises to be ghoulish, and which we will discuss if it ever actually hits broadway after its previews. I thought I would finish uploading the video before midnight on the 21st, I say the video was uploaded the same day as previews but that was a deadline I also missed after my initial World AIDS day one.
