About the Game:
Released for the SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis in 1992, Alisia Dragoon was developed by Game Arts and Gainax. Players control Alisia, a powerful sorceress seeking revenge against the forces of evil responsible for her father's death. Unlike most action platformers of the era, Alisia fights using lightning attacks while commanding a selection of creature companions, each with their own abilities and strengths. Although it never achieved major commercial success, the game has since gained a strong cult following thanks to its striking visuals, memorable soundtrack and distinctive gameplay mechanics.
