In this video, designer James M. Day shows us how to play ARC — The Underworld using Scenario #2 from the game using the VASSAL module. Note that all art is playtest, not final.
In Scenario #2, Alien Response Command Operators Box, Brick, Homer, Kip, Pogo, and Rattler (plus his military working dog Tango) enter Crawford. Their objective is to recover Crawford’s Population Database Record (PDR), called The Package. Following 9/11, all small towns and villages were required to maintain an up-to-date population register for reference in the event of national disasters or public emergencies. A copy of The Package is stored both in the police station and on the second floor of the town hall, so ARC operators will choose to explore one of the locations to find it.
This video is the first in a series of upcoming how to play videos for the game. We hope you enjoy!
