This is a Mega Drive game ported to the Amiga.
The Amiga can be played only with music or sound effects, but in the video both are shown (gameplay recorded with effects only, and the music added in the editing). It has no sound in the intro, the level intros, the stage clear, the ending.

Batman Returns on the Amiga isnt... very good. In fact, the game was universally panned upon release, and with good reason (see the reviews in Amiga Magazine Rack http://amr.abime.net/amr_search.php?search=batman+returns&mag_id=0&action=Find ).
Even if one gets past the tiny, badly animated character sprites, the gameplay is awful, the controls and collision dont work as they should, some sections which require precision platform jumping (like Level 3, the Rooftops) are the absolute worst. This game plays like it hates the player.
That said, as a fan of the film, I quite like the presentation, the music, some background graphics, it follows the movie pretty closely. Why did the gameplay have to be so bad. Batman Returns | Amiga Longplay/ Playthrough [50 fps]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/amhI9ptJocA/mqdefault.jpg)
