For #screenshotsaturday I am sharing an update on Star Explorers. I am working on introducing different night-time noises. Here we can listen to strange alien "cricket" sounds that only occur at night. They are procedurally generated and will be different for each planet...

I made a small fire and sat outside last night. Hearing the sounds of crickets really inspired me to add something similar to this game. It's not really an important part of the gameplay, but it is about adding a unique atmosphere to each world. I hope to do more things like this that will make each planet a unique experience.
These will be included in the upcoming version 5.0
