i have been obsessed and started this almost as soon as it released but just now finished it because i fear no man but that thing (arranging paralive) that thing scares me
i still remember listening to galaxy for the first time and immediately loving it but then being super sold on the tritone interval in annes express your attitude line. it could easily be consonant but the dissonance is so poignant i love it so much and i wish i couldve done more with it. overall i was really inspired by the chromaticism and put it in a lot more places than in the original, i think it gives what would be a purely celebratory song a strong since of melancholy and hope and goes along with bae and particularly galaxys theme. looks away for being insane about this silly cheesy song that also happens to have like the silliest mv in all of paralive

Instruments are chiffer lead synth, piano, slap bass. Didnt do anything too ambitious but this song was super fun, love the spooky vibes and the swing

Literally one person asked but I arranged Duel of Rebellion from Arc-V for clavichord, lute (yes, the guitar like instrument you hear in bardcore), and piano! Somehow the combination isnt that bad But it was interesting transposing the original brass to the tonally weak clavichord... For real though, this is one of my favorite tracks in all of Yugioh. It has such a powerful drive in that constant riff/ostinato, but the melody is not at all triumphant, rather sorrowful and pained. Its really fitting as the theme of the XYZ duelists! my favorite part is the arpeggios at 1:00 before the break, especially in the second measure. I tried to highlight the D# leading tone you dont hear in the original to make it extra off-kilter and painful sounding :)

Ive always liked this song, but I came across a really great cover by KOI/Lee Kyung tae (https://youtu.be/tXdhgoPl_bE) that made me want to arrange it, and I also used that version as my main reference. The instrumentations pretty simple, just two piano parts and a string pizzicato part thats almost an exact duplicate of the melody and I didnt do anything too crazy. I really enjoyed arranging Blessing, my favorite parts were the bridge sections with if it were [rock/acapella/game] it would be and the part right after that with the call/response-esque tune.
However, Ive been getting used to doing more highkey arrangements so I kind of forgot about adjusting the volume, Id recommend watching it at a higher setting :)
