I LOVED all of Alex and Meredith through season 11 and how they've been each others rock since S2 and really beyond. They're so important to me and I love how Alex said Cristina left him the board seat and Meredith.
Also Alex and Zola and that whole arc was really important, He was the one who brought Zola over, he was the one who got Zola back to them and everything.
CAN WE TAKE A MOMENT AND JUST REALIZE ALEX KAREV'S CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT?? like holy shit. My mom watched the show as it aired until season 9 and so we started our binge watch together. She told me, she loved Alex and all this stuff and I met alex and I was oh my god he's such a fuckboy like why and then he developed. he's been a favorite ever since and he's such proof that you can change and I love it. also that frat boy bitch scene is iconic.
Alex treats meredith really well and sometimes dare I say it better than Cristina did, due to personalities etc. He's the only one left who knows Meredith, her dark side, her needs, her reactions. I would never want them to be a real ship because what they have now is such a pure thing
Meredith helping Jo and Alex is really sweet too and they're not one sided with each other, Meredith does just as much for Alex and he's done for her so. Yeah. I like them. My people.
