Pupils from schools in Alexandra Township in Johannesburg are gathering for the annual Spelling Bee competition. The initiative, run under the banner "Read Alex", was started by a group of runners who wanted to encourage children in the area to read, not only for school but also for fun. The competition is now in its third year and continues to grow. Newzroom Afrika's Zikhona Tshona is there.
