Welcome back to another first-time music reaction!
Today I'm finally checking out Alexandra Căpitănescu performing "Choke Me" live for Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 Grand Final. This performance has been highly requested, and I'm excited to experience it for the very first time. Alexandra represented Romania with this song and finished 3rd overall in the Grand Final, making it one of Romania's strongest Eurovision results.
One of the reasons I enjoy reacting to Eurovision performances is the incredible variety of musical styles, stage productions, and vocal talent from across Europe. Every country brings something unique to the stage, and it's always fascinating to see how each artist tells their story through music.
As always, this is a genuine first-time hearing. I never watch performances ahead of time, so everything you see is my honest reaction as the performance unfolds.
