Have you ever heard so sad a piece written in a major key? (b flat major). Not exactly a typical Scriabin piece - this really is a jazz balad avant-la-lettre ;)
(In my opinion many pianists play this way too fast - I can play it at double speed too, but then for me it looses much of its atmosphere).
Some technical data:
The piano is a yamaha gt2 digital grand piano. The sound is recorded on a boss br600 multi-track recorder in dry recording mode. Sound and video were mixed using kdenlive on a linux laptop running debian sid.

Another close reading - this time of an animated conversation between two persons (Alan and Karl). In just 3 minutes time they discuss the meaning of life. Ive transcribed their conversation for piano and saxophone and background noises for percussion.
