I'm gonna be real with you. I only watched like 6 seasons of this show and I don't plan on watching the entire thing. But I did watch Izzex scenes and even Japril and I ended up shipping them both but Izzex is my Grey's OTP and one of my all time fav ships now. Their story is so beautiful and tragic at the same time. They serve enemies to friends to lovers angst slowburn endgame. No one could get in the way of them. Not Denny. Not George. Not Jo. Who's doing it like them?! WHO?! Absolutely no one. Their chemistry is electric especially in the early seasons so I couldn't help but fall for them. I loved them instantly but then the cancer storyline HIT ME and I knew there was no turning back. Legit gave me A Walk to Remember vibes aha. I promised my friend I'd watch Jolex scenes for her but I doubt I'd feel anything for them because Izzex is just IT for me and once I'm hardcore on something, it's almost impossible for me to switch lanes. Their story flows so well... the fact that Izzie asked Alex back in S2 "what if it was me" regarding cancer and he says he wouldn't care because he wants her and then flashforward to S5, he never leaves her side while she's sick. UGH THE ABSOLUTE FLAVOR!!! Alex constantly keeps mentioning Izzie and even called her his soulmate while he was with Jo... I mean. The endgame just writes itself. Izzie inspired Alex to be a better person and he wasn't lying when he said he doesn't want to be the future of the hospital if she's not beside him. She also believed in him and saw the good in him before anyone else did so the way S6 treated them pisses me off because Izzie would NEVER just leave without talking to Alex first. That is not the Izzie I know and love. I'll forever be bitter about their last scene together.

Izzex should have been endgame a decade ago but they just had to write off Izzie's character due to BTS drama, which sucks so our endgame was delayed but at least we got it!!! I can't believe Izzie said "We're gonna have beautiful kids, don't you think?" and then BAM 10 years later they're raising beautiful twins now. 16x16 had me SHOOK. I can't believe they dedicated the entire episode to Alex and gave us 2 epic tributes to Izzex and their love story. I would KILL for Stelena to come back to life like this ahaha.

And yeah I also feel bad for Jo because my friend told me about her tragic backstory... but I also don't really know her either so I'm just like... give her a girlfriend instead because none of her male relationships are working out. Imagine the power.

I'm also sad about Merlex's end. They became the whole show after everyone else in MAGIC left so now Meredith is all by herself now :( They should just cancel the show already. All the good characters left anyway. If it goes on longer than 20 seasons, I'll scream.
