Description: The Tuesday Crew cleaned the steam Lombard ash pan and smoke box today. They also worked on the two gas Lombards and Lombard sleds. We compared hauling capacities of a visiting modern Peterbilt log hauler (15 cords) with our steam Lombard (100 cords). We cut and removed several blowdowns on the nature trail. Terry brought in a beautiful new Lombard cup that he designed.

Fun day at Leonard's Mills, beginning with a 5k fun run. Blackman Stream was filled with alewives. Tony prepared some delicious smoked alewives to share. The blacksmith shop, gas Lombards and water-powered sawmill were running.
