The Crab Boat Aleutian Storm, just North of Bodega Bay. These shots were taken around 10am on a high tide and large swell. It was raining at the time with a 10 to 15 foot swell. Damage continues to the hull and the aft decking is now partially lost.
I also have to assume that a good portion of the fuel that was not removed has been displaced by the heavier seawater. Fuel tank vents would be on the main deck and would allow fuel to escape when the vents are submerged. Saltwater the universal solvent.
This will be likely my last video when and if the salvage operation starts.
