Tips & Tricks
As a fighter, Aldous is able to deal damage as well as take it. He won’t deal as much as a marksman or mage, and he can’t tank as much as proper tank hero, but his survivability allows him to get into fights and eliminate key targets.
His ability to gain vision of the enemy team and teleport to them can give your team valuable knowledge of what the enemy is up to. Are they on Lord? Is someone alone in the jungle, a perfect candidate to be ambushed? Use Aldous’s ultimate to give your team the upper hand in battle.
Items
Items like Endless Battle and Thunder Belt allow Aldous to take advantage of his Fighter stats and add some True Damage to his kit.
Athena’s Shield will help him sustain when his passive is on cooldown, allowing him to get into fights more often and takedown enemies while taking less damage in the process.
As a fighter, Aldous can build more offensively or defensively based on what his team needs. If there isn’t a tank on your team, don’t hesitate to build more defensive items, allowing you to tank more damage and help your team push more successfully when you initiate fights.
Abilities
Aldous has many defensive measures to help him fulfill his contracts on enemies. His passive shield helps greatly, especially when paired with his enhanced Basic Attacks from Contract: Soul Steal.
Keep an eye on your passive, and try to proc it with Soul Steal. This can greatly increase both your durability and damage output.
Use Contract: Explosion when intense fights are breaking out. It essentially nullifies marksmen attacks against you and can be particularly effective against a variety of other champions who get the majority of their damage from their Basic Attacks.
For Contract: Chase Fate, try to use the ability smartly. Diving into a team by yourself is unlikely to end well for you, but if it helps you get back to the fight that’s breaking out from your fountain, it can turn the tide of battle for your team.
Use Chase Fate to seek out lone enemies that you can duel and you can also use it to scout vision, seeing where enemies are and alerting your team to important objectives or help them set up ambushes. Don’t underestimate the power of knowing where the enemy is at all times!

Aldous is a fighter, but the Assassin emblem page has stats he enjoys and that work well with his hitman playstyle. Upgrades in Agility and Invasion giving him added movement speed and physical penetration. The Bounty Hunter talent grants extra gold for kills, and High and Dry gives him added damage when he’s the only hero around, perfect for finding lone targets and taking them out.
