Alchemillia Volume 1 is amazing, honestly you can get it very early in Normal Mode or Easy Mode by attacking Olivia at the train.
If you manage to take her out (of course before you gotta take out Marcoh or he'll hold you in place) you will gain this crafting recipe.
And with all the herbs at the start of the game this is a no brainer.

Or of course you could be Olivia and just heal constantly.
