The Swiss villages are becoming increasingly popular among tourists who intend to visit Switzerland. No doubt, the many villages of Valais / Wallis charm with their many beautiful traditional wooden houses. However, the canton of Valais is full of such wonderful villages, many of them remaining unknown. Grimentz has become increasingly popular among tourists, but there is this one village that might be the next hotspot for tourists who come to Switzerland: that village would be Albinen. Albinen is probably the most stereotypically Swiss alpine village you could find. It has been perfectly preserved, there are numerous of old traditional wooden houses and many alleys and secret passages. Albinen feels like a maze but there is really a lot to see. Spend here roughly two hours and try to explore each of the alleys. Always take a closer look at the wooden houses, some of them have decorations or tools being put on the walls. There are even many Stadel houses, typical Walser / Valais houses that are built on pillars with stone plates. Albinen remains up to this day unknown but it is considered being one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland. It gets increasingly known among locals but yet not among international visitors. It may probably take some more time but Albinen is likely to become the new favorite Swiss village. Thus, better travel here sooner than later. Meanwhile, enjoy the serenity up in this alpine Swiss village with the great views over the valley of Valais / Wallis and the mountains. Also combine your visit to Albinen with Leukerbad, the wellness oasis of the Swiss Alps. Leukerbad has numerous thermal baths, the Leukerbad Therme being one of them. With this combination, you will have a perfect trip to the canton of Valais.

DjemoGraphic present the less known parts of the Verzasca Valley in Ticino, Switzerland. Although quite famous, the Verzasca Valley mainly attracts visitors to the Dam, where James Bond 007 Goldeneye was shot and to the serene creek at Lavertezzo. The latter part has often been described as the Maldives of Switerzland. However, unnoticed, up on the hill, stands the humble village of CORIPPO. This village remains up to this day the smallest municipality of Switzerland and only has 13 residents left. In this video, you will get to know more about this wonderful village called Corippo and learn how to appreciate the humbleness and serenity of this place.
