British guitarists Albert Harris and Ivor Mairants play "Dedication (To Ed. Lang)", composed by Harris. I think there is almost as much Django in their playing as there is Eddie Lang, though the extended coda is pure Lang and really lovely. It's a very nice tribute to a great guitarist who died too young (aged 30, in 1933, while having his tonsils removed), and it swings nicely too!

I transferred this from a laminated Australian pressing, which has far less crackle than the British issue (on Brunswick). On the other hand, it has more rumble!
