Snow/ice levels in games always get the best music, and the Alaska track in Redout is no exception. That electric guitar is perfect for blasting across a frozen lake at 1,500 km/h.
The reason I'm uploading this is because this is the only song in Redout that has parts which play in-game that aren't in the official soundtrack (Including any other video you can find of this song on YouTube). So I'm just filling another void really.
This was actually a real pain to put together. Redout does this weird thing with its music where every song is broken up into 10 or so sections, and then the game just plays sections at random (which, yes, means the music often sounds very disjointed). So I had to record a few races until every section played at least once, and then manually stitch them together back in the correct order, making sure the transitions between sections didn't sound too janky.
This song is actually 6 years old by now but eh, better late than never I suppose.
