YeeFit Travel Vlog: Juneau, Alaska was one of the most unforgettable ports on our Alaska cruise aboard the Disney Wonder. From the moment we stepped off the ship and saw the iconic Mount Roberts Tramway, we knew this day would be full of adventure.
We took a shuttle to our whale watching tour and spent time out at sea learning how to identify humpback whales — including one named Kelp, which we were blessed to see in the wild. We also spotted seals and bald eagles while taking in the breathtaking scenery of Alaska’s coastline.
Later, we hiked through the rain to Nugget Falls and experienced the incredible beauty of Mendenhall Glacier, even taking a detour to Photo Point for a better view. Afterward, we enjoyed delicious fish & chips at Flight Deck before walking back toward the port and watching seaplanes take off across the harbor.
We ended the day back onboard with an elegant dinner at Triton’s, featuring lobster tail and chocolate fudge lava cake — the perfect ending to an unforgettable Alaska port adventure.
