Southwest 737 | Alaska Air Full Flight ANC-OME: TO THE END OF THE WORLD @Southwest737 | Uploaded December 2016 | Updated October 2024, 9 minutes ago.
Join me as I journey even further into the depths of Alaska! On this flight I travel up to Nome, which is a small town right by the Bering Sea. The population in Nome is only a few thousand, and the Nome airport terminal can only hold roughly 100 people (packed together tightly). The thing I think Nome is most famous for would be that it's the finish line for the Iditerod Sled Dog Race held each Spring. The fact that sunrise in Nome on this day was 10:51 AM also makes for a surreal experience. Enjoy!
Flight 151 Boeing 737-400 Combi
Departed ANC: 7:40 AM from gate C2.
Arrived OME: 9:10 AM at gate 1.
Seat: 21A
Recorded on December 13, 2016.
