Tip # 5 - Dress Casual
On a daytime date, wear jeans or something comfortable that you can move around in in case you are on an activity date. Unless you're on a dinner date, avoid a smart shirt and jacket.
Tip # 4 - Avoid Banter
Boys be careful with your banter. Until you know each other well, banter could cause offence. Jokes are fine, as long as they're funny!
Tip # 3 - No Gifts
A lot of guys think they should take flowers on a first date but Alanna doesn't think you should. She says, don't take a gift until the third date and only then, it should only be a single flower or a small bouquet.
Tip # 2 - Compliment Her
Girls really appreciate being complimented on their appearance as they usually put a lot of time and effort into looking gorgeous. Another huge compliment is having your undivided attention throughout the evening so don't let your eyes stray away.
Tip # 1 - Be A Gent
Be a gent by opening the car door for the girl and allowing her to walk ahead. Do anything you can to make her feel special and show her what a great boyfriend you could be!
