Leading up to and including Election Day for the 2019 Australian Federal Election, bookies had already paid out for a Labor victory under Bill Shorten, with opinion polls consistently signifying a whitewash Liberal Coalition loss for Scott Morrison. Even Gold Logie nominee Waleed Aly predicted 81 seats for the ALP mere minutes before the results came in.
Commentator Alan Jones provided a very different assessment of the election with the influence of Clive Palmer and QLD on the overall result - which was incredibly well-researched, astute and proved to be correct in over 90% of his predictions.
