So, remember a few months back when I uploaded that Strange Magic tribute I did for my Motion Graphics class? Well, this is the final exam for that class :D
Basically, my teacher gave us freedom to do whatever we wanted for the final, the only condition is that the video had to be over one minute long, and all illustrations (if we used them) had to be made by ourselves.
Since I've been watching a lot of Marvel movies and shows lately, I've become kind of obsessed with their end (and, rarely, opening) credits sequences and how each has a unique style that matches the movie. And it's not just Marvel, I think stylized and eye-catching credits are becoming more and more common practice in movies nowadays, which I love.
But then I thought of the Disney Reinassance movies, arguably some of the company's best and most famous animated products. But sadly the end credits they have don't really do them justice, they're just letters in front of a black screen, boring! So, I thought I'd fix that for my second favorite 90s Disney movie, Aladdin! (I was gonna do my favorite, Lion King, but someone else had already picked that movie for their final project so I thought I'd do a different one.) I know a lot of these appear in the opening credits, but it was just for fun (and, you know, also for homework :'B).
I obviously had a limited time to finish this, so both the illustrations and animation probably could've turned out a little better, but either way I'm pretty happy with the final result. And in case you're wondering, yes I did get a good grade on this, thanks for asking xD
