The National Assembly and the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, NELFUND, are taking the student loan sensitisation campaign to institutions across the South-South and South-East zones. Speaking in Uyo, Senate President Godswill Akpabio said the National Assembly is working with NELFUND to expand access to tuition support and monthly upkeep for Nigerian students. NELFUND says more than 1.6 million students have benefited from the scheme, with over ₦322 billion disbursed since its inception.
