The Parallax MSX2 game Akin (1995) suffered from a bug: sometimes there were stray white pixels in the screen. According to the development blog of Core Dump (the successor of Akin), this is due to some popcom problem. We discussed it on IRC and we couldn't understand why it happened only on certain machines. Then mth suggested it may have been due to an uninitialized memory read and memory is filled differently for different MSX machines.
BiFiMSX investigated further and eventually found the bug indeed.

This video shows the difference: before and after the fix.

The fix will be available soon, but that's still a surprise... (I'll update this when it's announced.)

BiFiMSX recorded the videos with openMSX and I put them together.
