Hey guys! Akihabara is a neighborhood in Tokyo, Japan that is famous for it's electronics and anime / Manga Fandom. It's also know of electronic town, or e-town.
On Sundays, the officials shut down the main street to vehicular traffic from 1pm - 6pm (5pm during the winter) and people are able to wander around on the roadway. The street gets filled with people who are taking pictures (and video haha) and exploring the neighbourhood.
There's restaurants, video game shops, arcades and crane games, maid cafes, dvd stores, toy stores, Manga shops, and electronics galore.
I was a bit disapponited with the retro arcades in Akihabara. How could you have a retro arcade and NOT have the game Double Dragon, Galaga, 1943, or Afterburner!?!?!?
Anyhow, it was a fun walk, filmed in 4k60, and I hope you guys enjoy it!
