Hello I made this within the span of one night up to 3-4 AM, as my mind is want to do when it comes to making full videos. I've been wanting to use this song for ages but I'd only JUST found the perfect anime/pairing.

But anyways!! Last week I ended up rewatching Battle Athletes which my parents used to own on vhs when I was little. With this, utena, and sailor moon, I was exposed to a lot of Canon Lesbians as a kid, and I'm all the stronger for it!
The show itself is... well, it's got a lot of issues that I'm not about to go over. But it does have charm, the protag reminds me a lot of usagi but like. with sports. And the protag, Akari, not only gets one, but TWO girlfriends??? Damn akari, share the luck!
I also just. Ignored the last 3 episodes because they added on this rly weird last arc plot about fighting aliens invaders who are obsessed with sports which had not been mentioned at all the rest of the series except like. once as a joke sdkjsdf. So, that was wild!
Bonus fun fact: The Japanese VA for Chris (the blue haired girl) is the same as Utena's! I appreciate the commitment to voicing gay women. Loved that for her!
