Akai GX-77 Fast spooling modification.
The fast wind and rewind spooling will not work when the spool is fully loaded.
A modification with two 12volt relays (DPCO) enables the free running spool to be driven to unwind the tape and enable the other spool to pull the tape at speed.
The circuit modification is simple, but the wiring looks complicated, but just needs to be wired metodically.
The parts cost is very low, just 2 relays some wire and a 4 cheap diodes.
