In this video, I dive into my hands-on review of the AirSafe Class VII hitch, sent to me free by AirSafe for an honest review. This beast boasts a 25,000 lb towing capacity and 2,500 lb tongue weight rating—perfect for heavy-duty towing. I put it to the test against my Weigh Safe (amzn.to/3DCbp67) using a sensor (amzn.to/4bSfMX7) to measure how it softens road bumps. Spoiler: The custom heavy-duty airbag and lack of pivot points make a BIG difference. I also paired it with a Hitch Tightener (amzn.to/4hwv9pp) to eliminate rattle.
Airstream Note: While I tested the Class VII, I believe most Airstream trailers could easily use the AirSafe Class V hitch and be perfectly fine. Its adjustable design and smooth ride would pair great with those iconic lightweight trailers!
