This case is rugged and includes adhesive strips that secure the top of the case to the lid of the AirPods. Unlike the previous case cover, this material is made of hardened plastic and not stretchable silicone rubber.
The ring included can make opening the case temperamental at times, as the ring needs to be folded back against the case, in order for the AirPods case lid to be open freely.
The lock feature helps to secure and prevent the lid from opening and having your AirPods fall out.
Overall very impressed with the look and feel of this rugged case cover.
