We’ve got a very special airgun review this week as Mat Manning tests the new Daystate Blackwolf. The amazing mechanical PCP is a modular platform based around an airgun that combines easy tuning and fast barrel change with potential for very high power. The versatility of the Daystate Black Wolf means this air rifle can be adapted to suit all demands from hunting to competition target shooting at extreme range.
First up though, Mat is targeting a rat infestation on the farm. Gear for the night shooting session is the Kral Puncher K airgun and the DNT Thermnight TNC 335R scope which combines thermal and night vision viewing along with a colour image by day. It’s a hectic farmyard foray with some busy rat shooting and Mat gets to grips with the disease spreading pests.
